Description The proposed project consists of replacing the current level IV shooter's cut ballistic plates in our rifle vests made by GH Armor Systems. This piece of equipment is worn by all officers when responding to high risk incidents.

Justification As a result of the Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, the department was able to purchase these vests in 2017. The ballistic Level IV plates have a useful life/warranty of 5 years. Our current plates will expire in January 2022.
