Total Project Cost: $41,900

Description The proposed project stems from the recommendations made by EDA in their HVAC study report. The report identified 15 items to address over the next few years. These were divided into Near-Term and Long-Term Improvements. This project proposes to complete 6 of the recommendations. These include: improving the air distribution; clean the air handling system; add heat to the northeast storage room and remove the windows; replace the 1997 electric heat; re-pipe in-floor heat; and HTML upgrade. Justification The City commissioned a study of the HVAC at the Spencer Public Library. Concerns about the current system form both staff and the Library Board, provided the impetus for this study.
