FY 2020-2024 Capital Improvement Plan

The proposed project would install digital video recording systems in each of the three interview rooms at the Police Station. 18-PD-001 DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDING SYSTEM The Mobile Vision interview room system aligns with the in-car video system that the Department currently uses. This system will be compatible with the Department's server and disc publisher system. The system is tamper resistant and will maintain the integrity of the recordings. The proposed project would install new interior and exterior video surveillance equipment for the communication center and police department buildings. 21-PD-001 VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM The communication center houses critical 911 infrastructure that is imperative for emergency services. It is essential that we provide and safeguard the personnel and equipment within the buildings. The proposed project consists of replacing the current level IV shooter's cut ballistic plates in our rifle vests made by GH Armor Systems. This piece of equipment is worn by all officers when responding to high risk incidents. 22-PD-001 LEVEL IV BALLISTIC RIFLE PLATES As a result of the Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, the department was able to purchase these vests in 2017. The ballistic Level IV plates have a useful life/warranty of 5 years. Our current plates will expire in January 2022. There will be minimal impact on the budget due to this project.
