Budget Impact: The budget for the mayor and council remains steady. Salaries for the mayor and council are the only expenditures expensed out of this budget. Any other costs for training and travel are expensed out of the Administration budget. The city's Compensation Advisory Board met in the fall of 2017 and recommended an increase to the mayor's salary and no increase for council members.

Future Concerns:

No concerns are noted of the future of this budgetary department. As the budget gets fine tuned, expenditures related to training may be removed from Administration and budgeted under this department in the future.
