Departments: The main departments under Community & Economic Development consist of the following:

The Community and Economic Development Function of the city's budget does not contain any employee expenses, nor does it have it's own dedicated departments. Many of the functions that are carried out under the banner of Community and Economic Development are handled by the City Manager, Deputy City Manager/Finance Director and Planning Director. The budget for the Community & Economic Development function contains payments for several local grant programs, tax increment payments, and local options sales tax distribution. On the following pages, you will find the detailed budgets for the expenses allocated under the Community and Economic Development function. Specific information will also be provided concerning payments made the following funds: 125 - Tax Increment Financing and 124 - Local Option Sales Tax.
