Description: Justification:

Sections of 1.75" hose that fail to meet a service test will be replaced. This will ensure that the likeability of a hose failure during a fire is reduced.

Budget Impact:

The proposed project will give more life to aged hand held units on the fire grounds, training ground, highway system and on EMS runs. The project will purchase a radio repeater system for placement on one of the fire trucks. 19-FIRE-005 RADIO REPEATER SYSTEM The current hand held radios are coming full term in life span. With the addition of this repeater system, the department will be able to extend the strength of the hand held reach and therefore extend their life.

The current vehicle is a 1988 model year and has reached its useful life as an emergency vehicle.
