Description The proposed project will replace the lower gear unit on one of the screw pumps at the wastewater treatment plant. These pumps are used to transfer sewage into the treatment facility. The old gear unit will be refurbished for use as a spare. Total Project Cost: $6,500

Justification This is part of the city's ongoing maintenance program and will extend the life of the screw pump.
