Description The proposed project would add four duty handguns to the police inventory.

Justification Adding the four handguns to the Department's inventory would ensure an adequate reserve in case the Police Department is faced with a shooting incident where an entire shift is involved. In case of such an emergency, all involved firearms are sent to the DCI Lab for examination, thus leaving the Department without adequate firearms to continue daily activities.
