The proposed project will replace the city's current 6' rotary mower with a new piece of equipment. 14-PARK-001 REPLACE 6' MOWER The project will replace the current mower based on the mower replacement schedule.

The project should reduce maintenance costs.

The proposed project will purchase compatible ADA for certain parks in the city system. 14-PARK-002 ADA PORTABLE TOILETS The proposed project is required to be in compliance with current ADA law and regulations. There will be minimal impact on the budget as this project is replacing existing toilets with new ones. The proposed project will renovate the tennis courts located at Fair View and River View Parks. The courts are Riverview Park are in need of crack filling and repainting. This project will be completed in FY16. The Fairview Tennis Courts are in need of overlay or replacement. This project will be completed in FY20 15-PARK-001 TENNIS COURT RENOVATION PROJECTS The current court surface has deteriorated to a point where large cracks exist, providing a source for water and freeze/thaw conditions to damage the surface. Half of the project will be reimbursed to the City by the Spencer Community School District. Resurfacing the courts will reduce potential injuries due to surface conditions and provide quality facilities. Maintenance costs should be lower.

The proposed project will replace the current 11' mower with a new piece of equipment. 15-PARK-002 REPLACE 11' MOWER The replacement of the mower is based on the mower replacement schedule.

The proposed project consists of the replacement of the Aquatic Center umbrellas. The current umbrellas are in need of replacement due to age and deterioration. 17-PARK-002 AQUATIC CENTER UMBRELLAS To keep the umbrellas in good condition, they need to be replaced every so often due to weathering and normal wear and tear. The proposed project will construct a new open aired shelter facility at North School Park. The shelter picture shown is for visual purposes only. It may not reflect the actual shelter that is installed. 18-PARK-001 NORTH SCHOOL PARK OPEN SHELTER The project will provide shelter and picnic facilities at the park to improve quality of amenities available to park patrons. This project will have minimal impact on the budget.

This project will reduce maintenance costs by eliminating mowing and the upkeep of the current surface below the bleachers.
