STREET DEPARTMENT - RR SPUR

DEPARTMENT INFORMATION The Street Department - RR Spur budget accounts for expenditures related to maintaining the city owned railroad spur. In FY14, the City petitioned the Iowa Department of Transportation to formally abandon the spur line due to inactivity by the business located along the line. Permission was granted by the Iowa Department of Transportation to abandon and remove the rail line in June 2014. The Department expended 0% of its budget in FY17.
