PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT

DEPARTMENT INFORMATION The Public Works Department is a new budget for Fiscal Year 2017. The budget accounts for expenses related to the Public Works Director and Assistant Public Works Director. Previously these expense were accounted for in the Administration budget, but due to he nature of their work being related to the Street, Sewer, Solid Waste and Landfill departments, these expenses were removed form Administration. The revenues to cover these expenses are proportioned amongst the operating departments they supervise and the revenue is transferred into the General Fund so as not to impact the tax levy. The Department expended 97.27% of is budget in FY17.
