FUND INFORMATION

This fund accounts for major pieces of equipment/capital projects for the Landfill Operations fund. The primary source of revenue for this fund is the transfer of surplus Landfill Operations revenue. The majority of the expenditures coming from this fund go towards the replacement of landfill equipment and other capital projects. The fund balance on June 30, 2017 was $1,605,357.77 an increase of 28.10% . The five-year projection shows the balance in this fund to grow significantly. The number of large scale projects being planned at the landfill is minimal, however leachate storage and possible storage expansion is currently being investigated and will be worked into the plan as needed. In FY17, there were no expenditures out of this fund.
