PROJECT INFORMATION

The project will consist of the construciton of a multi-purpose recreational trail along the city-owend railroad right-of-way from West 10th Street to W 18th Street and then along the north side of W 18th Street to the intersection of W 18th and 4th Avenue West. This section of trail will then be joined by the upcoming Iowa Great Lakes Trail conneciton project as well as the West 18th Street Trail project. All three proejcts will intersect at the W 18th Street ad 4th Ave West intersection. Funding for this proejct comes from the TAP program as well as park reserves.
