PROJECT INFORMATION

The project consisted of the repair of several storm water intakes around the community. Over the years these intakes have deteriorated and are in need of improvement. In the past, the City attempted to perform this work in-house when time allowed. This project was the first time the City took the approach of contracting out the work to ensure that we could repair the maximum number of the intakes that would fit into the budget. This allows City staff time to perform other maintenance duties. This will be an ongoing project as the City has numerous intakes that are in need of repair.
