Seasons Center for Behavioral Health Seasons Center is a comprehensive behavioral health center that offers psychiatric and behavioral health services to people and communities. They have served Northwest Iowa since 1959 as a nonprofit organization.
The mission statement for Seasons Center is “Guiding individuals and families towards a meaningful and fulfilling life while maintaining values of innovative, impact, and influence through work with their clients.” Serving a 9 county region in northwest Iowa, Seasons Center’s central administration building is located just east of the Spencer Hospital. In 2016, Seasons Center opened Autumn’s Center, a children’s center specializing in behavioral and mental health services for children in the region. The new children’s center is located at the corner of East 5 th Street and 2 nd Avenue East, near downtown Spencer.
Compass Pointe – Behavioral Health Services Compass Pointe, formerly known as Northwest Iowa Alcoholism & Drug Treatment Unit, provides substance abuse treatment services to the residents of Spencer and northwest Iowa. Compass Pointe started with one room in Spencer in 1982 and today serves a 9 county region in
northwest Iowa. Programs include substance abuse counseling for drug and alcohol addition, along with gambling addiction and treatment services. The office is located at 1900 N. Grand Ave., Suite A.
Beehive Home Assisted Living The Beehive Home is a twelve (12) unit facility located in Spencer providing the assisted living needs of its occupants. The Beehive Home is located at 2116 1 st Avenue East in the northeast corner of Spencer. This facility provides for an assisted living environment for senior residents wanting to transition from single family residences.
Longhouse-Northshire Longhouse Northshire is a 110-bed facility offering intermediate and skilled nursing services to those in need in Spencer. The Longhouse Residence was originally opened in 1963 providing long term care with a total of 93 beds. In 1976, Northshire, a new senior housing facility was constructed just north of Longhouse. Today, Longhouse-Northshire provides nursing, skilled care, therapy, dietary services, social services, transportation and activities to its residents. The mission of Longhouse- Northshire is “To provide the very best care and assistance to those determined in need of nursing care.”

St. Luke Lutheran Homes & Services Since its founding in 1967, St. Luke’s has been providing high quality service and care to older adults. St. Luke’s has continued to meet the physical, social, medical, and spiritual needs of its residents. The mission is “Enhancing the life and maximizing the potential of each individual we serve through a high quality of care in a Christian setting.” The St. Luke campus is comprised of four (4) housing options
