Looking to the future, the long-range goals of the Spencer Planning Department include: 1. Continued updating of the city’s ArcGIS software and mapping capabilities 2. Additional on-line permit application forms including detailed descriptions on how to properly complete such forms and permit applications 3. Include additional planning and zoning related information on the city’s website There is nothing contained within the comprehensive land use plan that will impede upon the continued enforcement of the city’s local building, zoning and subdivision codes. Likewise, there appears to be no conflict with the city’s building and zoning codes that will impede the successful implementation of the city’s comprehensive land use plan, goals and objectives and future land use map.
